Razmik Papikyan

Freestyle Wrestler

Razmik Papikyan achieved his first serious achievement in the international arena in 2016, when he became the vice-champion at the European Under-18 Freestyle Wrestling Championship in Stockholm, Sweden.

 

On 10 February 2021, Papikyan received the title of "Master of Sports" by the Armenian President and Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport.

BIO

Razmik Papikyan was born on September 12, 1999 in Yerevan.
Razmik Papikyan achieved his first serious achievement in the international arena in 2016, when he became the vice-champion at the European Under-18 Freestyle Wrestling Championship in Stockholm, Sweden.
In 2019, at the age of 20, he became the winner of the Republic of Armenia in the 61 kg weight category.
Razmik has won many major international tournaments.
Razmik Papikyan is training under the leadership of Petros Mkrtchyan.
Winner of the 2020 Armenian Freestyle Wrestling Championship in the 61 kg weight category.
Winner of the RA Junior Championship 2015-2016.
Under-18 European Championship silver medalist in 2016.
Under-23 Winner of the Republic of Armenia 2019.
Winner of the Armenian Adult Championship 2019-2020.
5th winner of the World Cup 2020.
